In 1952, Foshan Cocoon Purchasing Station was set up.

In 1978, Foshan Cocoon Purchasing Station purchased 21,120 tons of cocoons.

In 1980, Foshan Cocoon Purchasing Station purchased 1,692 tons of raw silk and 20,000,000 meters of pongee. Foshan Municipal Government integrated its regional economic crops bureau, silkworm-mulberry division into Foshan Silk Company. Foshan Silk Company was founded and became a subsidiary of Guangdong Silk Group

In 1983, Foshan Municipal Government integrated its regional textile division into Foshan Silk Company. Foshan Silk Company began to play the function of coordinating the development of silk industry on behalf of the government.

In 1986, Foshan Silk Company gained import and export rights under the approval of Ministry of Commerce of People's Republic of China, and was renamed as Foshan Silk Imp. & Exp. Corporation Ltd. Apparel, furniture, household appliances, sanitary ware, construction ceramic and more were added into its dealing products.

In 2002, Foshan Silk Imp. & Exp. Corporation Ltd. underwent transformation from state ownership to joint-stock ownership. Thus, Foshan Yuyang Imp. & Exp. Corporation Ltd. was officially founded.

In 2002, our gross value of import and exports totaled USD6,000,000.

In 2003, our gross value of import and exports gained USD11,000,000.

In 2004, our gross value of import and exports reached USD20,000,000.
